yupp… i got a new hair cut and I love it Anywho, (i noticed that I say that a lot…) ANYWHO!!! i should probably get back to my school work. But nice chatting with ya’s lol pcee!!!

No I’m not talking about this Great Depression… I’m talking about this great depression…

Isn’t it beautiful?? HAHA Last night, I found out that I failed my Social test so I was completely bummed for the rest of the evening… I sat in my room for about an hour and played Domination with myself. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s just a game of squares with Dominoes…

So I just matched all the dominoes to their correct spots and then cleaned that up… After playing that with myself, I decided to make a little scene with the dominoes face down… lol. So I made a little scene about some guy with cool hair taking his dog for a walk in the sunshine… HAHA cute eh?? And I just noticed that the guy’s ears look like headphones oh well… I still like it…

After that, we all went out for a fire and I didn’t say a word… Except for when Dad was talking about his weird companies like A.S.A.P and C.E.P or something like that and he just kept saying those letters so I said “All I hear is letters” and mom agreed… After that, I didn’t say anything. Dad said to me “It’s just one test! Don’t worry about it!” And I’m thinking to myself “BUT I NEVER FAIL A TEST!!” So I was really bummed and decided to go to bed at about 9:00 pm Montreal time which would be 8:00 Winnipeg time or 7:00 Calgary time I like my timezones!!

Anywho, I’m kind of over the whole “stolen truck” issue now except for the fact that we have no way to get round except walk. So yesterday mom and I walked to the grocery store and bought a bunch of food and carried them home inthose little Supserstore bags… They weren’t even backpacks so I had to just use the straps and those hurt my shoulders… Plus I had a sunburn from fishing… Yes it is nice weather out here… As in +20 HAHA I laugh at everyone else with bad weather… Anyways, mom and I are going to be walking to a Fort out here just to see how far it is…. I kind of have to go because I’m short several gym hours short… I need another 20ish hours in order to pass gym this year… I need a total of 125 hours in order to pass and I have about 105 or something like that…

SOMEONE STOLE OUR TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we went to the Insectarium… don’t ask. It was gross and FULL of bugs ranging from ants, to bees, to tarantulas (even though those are arachnids and not insects… oh and can’t forget about the cockroaches and beetles… NASTY…

Anywho, we were leaving and I walk, mom clicks the unlock button on our automatic opener and then I said “Where’s our truck” and we all freaked out (by we, I mean me, Gina, and Mom…) Dad’s just trying to get us to calm down about it…  Gina’s freaked out mostly because she forgot her American Eagle sweater in there… I’m just freaked out because someone stole our truck! I think it’s been through this whole trip with us and should be with us to finish it! I would feel much better if if got stolen the day we got back but now!?!?!?!? Why now?!?!? I’m probably not going to sleep all that well tonight but we are stuck in Montreal with a stupid rental car that smells like cigarette smoke.

We don’t really know 100% what we are doing yet but we do have some options as to what we think we’re going to do. We will definitely buy a new truck sometime or another but we don’t really know if that’s going to happen here, in Montreal, in Winnipeg, or in Calgary… No idea… but yeah…

No there is nothing anyone can do so don’t try calling and saying “Oh my gosh!! I am so sorry! Is there anything I can do?!?” Like, I mean, you can call, I do like talking to friends and family and all but there’s really no point in asking if you can do anything… Just talk to me make me happy…

So yesterday we started the day off by going to Costco, mostly for lunch… That’s what we went for… But whenever we go to Costco, mom always get side tracked and ends up grocery shopping! So we also bought food and a GPS!! It’s pretty cool! It shows you where you are going and it talks to you, telling you what the name of the road is that you need to turn at AND it goes “DING DING!” when you need to turn… It also says “When possible, make a legal U-turn” if you missed your turn but it tells you when you can make a legal U-turn! IT’S SO COOL! I even got a couple pictures of it!

Then I said “So what do we name it?” Because I was mostly thinking of the movie RV when Robin Williams says “Thank you Lola” so I suggested the name “Mappy” and mom laughed saying that it was a good and funny name… So we named it Mappy… And mom said to dad “Now you can’t get mad at me if we get lost!!” and “Good Mappy!!” haha oh and the little red frog to the left of Mappy, we named him Hermit and he has been our trip mascot since the beginning of our trip

So our first destination that Mappy took us to was the Biodome.

It’s pretty interesting! It’s a bunch of different ecosystems in one building! Pretty cool huh? We started with a Tropical environment so there were birds and there was a Capybara…

After that we moved onto some boring fish exhibit. But after the fish it was bats… They were soo cool! They even made it seem like night time for the bats so that we could see them active and flying around. I’ll bet they turn the lights on at night so that they think it’s night when it’s day and day when it’s night… got that?? haha After the bats we went on to a cooler environment but still warm. Later on in the dome we saw little puffins and penguins… I think one of the Puffins was bleeding because it would move and there would be a puddle of blood behind him!!

After leaving the Biodome, Mappy took us to our next destination… Notre Dame Cathedral… I didn’t think it was that great… I thought it would be so much bigger and more pretty but it was just some other Catholic church…

After watching people pray… we went and found   yuuuummmmmmm…. There we ate a meal called Surf and Turf, which consisted of a salad (which Gina ate because she got Caesar and I hate that stuff!!!), fillet mignon, rice, and some gross kind of shrimp… After eating that I still could have gone for more steak but dad ordered a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Sundae mmm………. I didn’t like how it had the nuts in it though… I’m not a nut lover… but I am a nut Anyways, I believe it’s time to be starting school now so TOOTLES!

So, if you don’t remember, our family was staying at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson’s house while we were in Winnipeg. They were in Mexico and were leaving their house empty so we filled it in for them… But they got back from Mexico today. Also, from Feb 18-Feb 22, Gina was signed up for a week long horse back riding lesson. Pretty cool eh? I was able to get rid of my sister for a few hours everyday for that whole week!! It was great!

The only thing I have written on my calendar was the Lunar Eclipse.. Wasn’t it cool?! The moon was practically red! I think that was the first Lunar Eclipse I have ever seen! Probably mostly because I haven’t paid attention to any others

Feb 23

Today was the day I was most looking forward to We drove to Calgary today!!! WOOT! I was soooooooo excited to see everyone again! I think you could say the same for Torrey Because when I told him I was in Calgary he said:

“WHAT?!?! KSJH;DFK JAS;DFLKJ AS;DLKFJ ;ASLKDJF ;ASLKDJF ;KLJ; Why didn’t you tell me sooner!!!???!!!!????!!!?”

It was pretty funny… I’m like “well sorry I couldn’t tell you the second we got here!” lol… We also decided that on the 24th (Sunday) that Gina was going to be able to go to church… She was really excited for that! She was able to see her church friends and hang out with them for a bit… Unlike me where I didn’t go to church… I wasn’t able to see my pals :’( I feel bad for not even letting them know that I was in Calgary! I was so busy!!!!!! Oh… we also had this massive fight over the sour cream… Shows just how lame my family can be Like, my dad hates having the sour cream stirred but for the rest of us, we think it’s gross not to stir in that nasty liquid… Who’s with me?!?! lol… so Dad told Gina not to stir it, but she did anyways, and dad freaked out, causing Gina to freak out back, and Dad started yelling… Like I mean YELLING! At the top of his lungs… I wasn’t really part of this so I kinda ran away for a hour or so just to get away from my family for a bit… That was so stupid… OVER SOUR CREAM PEOPLE!!!

Feb 25

Today, I ended up going to Sara’s house and we chilled there for a bit and I surprised her by hiding in her closet, so as soon as she walked in the door I popped out and she was like “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKK Mel!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and she hugged forever! and told me how much she missed me, etc… Then she invited me for dinner and so I called my parents to see if it was ok but mom was like “No… because the Moseman’s already invited us for dinner at their house” and I said “well thanks for telling me” then Dad came on the phone and said “if you wanna take it like a man, you should have a little bit of supper at Sara’s and then have more supper at Kierra’s after!” “I’m not a man dad” is what I said back… haha good times So I just told Sara that I couldn’t and then I left. It wasn’t that blunt but do you really need every single detail?? lol… So I got to Kierra’s and she was texting Richard… Turns out Richard was on his way! I was so happy when Richard got there! lol I stood at the door and told Kierra to sit at the window and watch for him, then just as he was about to grab the doorknob I opened it and his hand was still reaching for the door! lol… GOTCHA! Then he ran in and was like “MEL!!!!!!!!!!!!’ and gave me the biggest hug and swung me around and almost broke my back haha! So the three of us hung out for several hours and did DDR on their Wii, ate supper, and Salt and Vinegar chips. Kierra’s little sister Krystin is obsessed with those chips so when Rich stole the bag from her, she actually fought him to get the chips back… Then (with a really serious expression… not even joking… man she was so serious!!!) she said “Don’t touch my chips.” And that was it! She sat back down and kept eating her chips… whoa… Then, just as we were heading out the door, Mom and Deb (kierra’s mom) started another subject so Richard, Kierra and I sat on the stairs talking amongst our selves until they were done… Turns out, we were on the stairs for another hour or so… lol Then after that, we decided that there was still another 3ish weeks to see each other, and then we actually walked out the door. It was about 10 o’clock before we left, then it was another hour to drive back to our trailer, which was in Cochrane. So we didn’t get to sleep until about 11:30 pm… Phew.

Feb 27

Today, Jess and the Moseman’s (Kierra and her family) came over to our trailer for supper. After supper, we went swimming for an hour or two and chilled as friends. It was sweet… We played a little bit of Volleyball (without a net :P) and sat in the hot tub talking about… well… talking about stuff. So there. Then after swimming, Kierra bought me a chocolate bar and we sat waiting for mom and Deb to come pick us up… oh by the way, Gina and Krystin came too but who cares? Not me obviously!

Feb 28

Today was an ordinary school day for me… I had no work to do and was just waiting for lunch (usually by Wednesday or sometimes before, I get all my work done for the week. At lunch, mom drove me to Crescent Heights to meet up with Kierra… Jess, and Kierra, and I made plans at the pool with my mom so that I’d be at their school for lunch. So I got there, met up with Kierra and all of a sudden a massive stampede of people came running over to me! Everyone was giving me hugs and telling me how much they missed me… and telling me never to leave them again… WOW that was crazy… All but Torrey… the one who’d been surprised to hear that I was in Calgary… I snuck up behind him and gave him a light hug then he tried turning around to see who it was as I kept ducking so he couldn’t see me… Then, just as he was about to give up, I poked my head around with a big smile on my face and he screamed and gave me the BIGGEST HUG!! (from the front this time ) it seems like he’s the only one really happy to see me! Actually, that’s a lie haha considering the massive stampede, lots of people missed me

Feb 29

Today, my good friend Tyler and I went swimming at Airdrie Pool. At first it was kinda awkward and he was like “Whaddya wanna do?” and I was like “anything that has to do with water!” so he said “Slide??” and I’m like “Yeah!” so we went on the slide a few times, and he crashed at the bottom a few times, and I almost slipped walking out of the end of the slide… That would’ve been funny! After the slide, we swam around in the main pool for a while kind of just talking and catching up on life, I guess… Then we went to the diving board… He kept doing these whacked out flips while I was doing these gracious dives… Then Tyler had some competition… This other guy (which, by the way, was kind of freaky looking) lined up behind me and started doing better flips AND dives than Tyler… hmmm… what happened next? Well, Tyler tried brushing up on his dives AND flips that he was so confused as to what to do next, that he ended up doing a belly flop!!! I killed my self laughing!!! The “guy behind me” then tried showing of by just diving in and, man I gotta tell you, he sucked! haha So I went on the diving board and showed him who’s boss… I did an awesome back flip in and they both kinda backed off on the competition because, obviously, I was the better one of us three After that, we walked into the sauna. Stupid boys… There were three boys, about 12 years old, and they were being rude and obnoxious… And they were throwing rubber bands on to the heating system… I was afraid a fire was going to start! Eventually, after 5 minutes or so I blew up at them and told them that “This is a sauna where you’re supposed to be quiet and relax, not throw things at the heater or act stupid ok?” and they retaliated by saying “You’re not the boss of us, you can’t make us stop” and Tyler said “No but we are older than you and we can inform a lifeguard” so they left and some other boy, same age as the last three, walked in and was like “I heard how you were treating those boys” and I’m like “and? we’re allowed to kick them out if they’re not being mature” and he’s like “no! it’s a free country! I can do what ever I want!” then these three girls about my age, walked in and sat listening to us argue. Then the boy was like (this was him talking to me by the way) he said “What would you say if I pinched you, or flicked you, or spat on you??” and just before I blew up, Tyler was like “I’d punch you!” and the boy ran off. Then the girls looked at us and was like “Is he related to any of you!??!” We both shook our heads and they laughed… So we talked with them for a bit and Tyler and I decided that it was too hot and walked into the lazy river. Just then, the kid started following us and so we went into the big pool and HE STILL FOLLOWED US!!! So I went up to the nearest lifeguard and told her that the boy was being annoying and following us. As Tyler and I were walking out of the pool, and just about to head into our change rooms, we saw the little boy tattling to his older sister (who didn’t seem to care very much) but we ran into the change rooms and got dressed as fast as we could and met each other in the gym afterwards, where we played basketball until dad came to pick us up.

Mar 1

This evening we went to watch Richard’s hockey game where his team won 3-2. It was a good game… Sara, Chelsey, and Mitch were there too! So we talked and kinda watched the game at the same time And took pictures!

(left to right: Sara, Me, Chelsey, Mitch) After the game, we decided to go to Richards house to have some fun… So we made brownies and pudding We also had a wad of Chips and Pop… we were pretty hyper. We were also stealing Mitch and Rob’s hat (Rob is a friend of Richard’s that ended up staying the night because he went to watch the game too…) So I stole their hats, and while they were looking for me, I hid in a bin (seeing as I’m small) and they could not find me! I ended up not being able to breath in there so I called for help and they came and helped me out… The looks on their face were hilarious!

Today Richard, and Chels, and I went out for lunch at Applebee’s Chelsey said “Desserts are on me!” Then Richard said “Appetizer is on me!” and then I said “well I didn’t think I be buying for anyone else so Free waters are on me!” lol… haha After lunch, Richards mom came and picked us up, then dropped Chels and I off at Sara’s because Rich couldn’t come because he had a project to work on. So Chelsey and I played games while Sara scrapbooked because she saved her homework till the last minute… as usual. Chels and I played Guess Who for a couple hours and then Sara wanted to play Clue so we did. It was fun and I even got a couple rounds of guess who on video!! haha good times!

Mar 7

Today we (as in just the family) ended up going to West Edmonton Mall… The wave pool to be exact! Gina and I went to the wave pool while mom and dad did something else… that I don’t remember… But we had fun there… then on our way back, I made plans with my friends to go to the Youth Night at the Wave Pool in Calgary but we didn’t meet up until like 9:00 pm… It’s a good thing the night there didn’t end until 11:00pm!! So we swam and danced along to the music and did what friends do… Jeremy actually picked me up and threw me into the water… ohhhh boy… I think I killed his ear though! But at the end of the night, we went to Sara’s again and had a cool sleep over… We stayed up till about 3 in the morning talking and watching Kierra text people haha. and we ate maccaroni at midnight. The next day we rented a movie (just at Kierra’s house though) and we watched Sydney Whit, ft. Amanda Bynes.

Funny movie!! I loved it! It’s just a modern day version of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. It’s cool… Chelsey also got her hair streaked for the FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE! Crazy how it’s only the first time though!!! WOW! But it looked great.

Mar 16-21

This week we were in Unity, Saskatchewan at our campground. I was even the one driving around town seeing as we got the car back for a while! It’s a little red Volkswagon Golf.

On the 21st, though, as were were just leaving town, the lady at the gas station ended up putting GASOLINE in our DIESEL car!!! so we had to wait another 5ish hours before we were able to leave the town!!! Then, about 2 hours away from where we had just left, the car broke down and Dad had to come pick us up in the truck and we all drove to Winnipeg in the truck OVERNIGHT! Man it was crazy…

Today was the Rocan Easter Gathering at the school that Uncle Jean works at. We also had a massive easter egg hunt in which all the little kids participated in… No, I do not count as a little kid. But I wish! There was soooo much chocolate! mmmmmmmmmm yum.

Today was ANOTHER easter egg hunt, except on the Anderson side… there was WAY less candy and more socializing Fuuuuuunnnnnnnn…..

Mar 25-26

We slept the night at Granny and Gramps Anderson’s house on Tuesday and then on Wednesday Gina and I went to Church with Granny and we helped out with the nursery and watched about 21 kids… It was sooo cool. I have to say there were more boys than girls and we had several little 5 year old boys crushing on us… It was soo funny because one would beg me to come play lego, then another would come ask me to do a craft with him, then the other came and sat on my lap while we had snack and watched veggie tales, then another told me that he was going to clean up for me… HAHA! Cute! it’s funny when they go for much older girls But after all the kids left, it was just us “leaders” and it turns out they got every leader a box of chocolates… I tried to refuse but they wouldn’t let me!!! but they were good anyways… After babysitting, we went to the Movement Center, which is where my cousin goes (she has Cerebral Palsy) to get some “Training” on how to be independent in her everyday life… It’s pretty cool because it’s kind of like an army camp for the disabled… It’s cool to watch each kid succeed at something different… Each kid has their own strength and my cousin Sarah has many strengths… If you want to read a little bit about it go to http://movementcentre.ca/default.aspx and if you’re interested, you can watch a little video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwj8Y7o1bQM and this shows what they do there. It is 10 minutes long but I think it’s a good idea to know what it’s like there… No my cousin is not in this video but most of her friends from there are. The kid at the very end, Jordan, was there when we went to visit my cousin and I could barely tell that he had a disability… This video was filmed a while ago but when I was just there recently, he was talking just fine, sitting up just fine, but he had a harder time walking and controlling his hands… It’s truly amazing to see the change that has happened from the time that video was filmed to now…

Today was my VERY first time in the planetarium in Winnipeg…

the Planitarium is a dome shaped building. It’s kind of like an Imax theater except the whole roof, 360 degrees, the top half of a sphere, is the theater… So we pretty much watched a Court Debate as to whether Pluto was a planet or not… and then after the presentation, you could vote and when we voted, according to the voting, Pluto WAS a planet…

Today we spent our day with the Kehlers , and Miranda, Janessa and I went to the convenience store where I bought my first Pic-a-Pop… I would post a picture but there are really any good on Google and I can’t find my camera at the moment… Pic-a-Pops are mostly like Jones drinks just with a different name… But I still love them and we went to church but Jen and Gina and I stayed and watched kids in the nursery. That was fun!! But there were a ton of kids with weird names… like Ocean for example… Someone named their kid Ocean…

These two days we were at Kehlers again… since we were camping on their driveway!! But we played Wii, watched Enchanted about 4 times, and walked to the corner store… and that’s about it… NOW ONTO THIS MONTH!!! oh way… it’s May now… ohhh boy…. another month to go

OMIGOSH!!! I pulled the oldest prank on my sister!!! You remember the old “Saran Rap” Prank?? ohhh man… priceless… So I Saran Rapped the toilet bowl so that when someone went to the bath room, the stuff they did wouldn’t go into the toilet but just sit on the saran rap and soak them or make them dirty… So my first victim was dad… He must of saw the light glare off of it or something so he just walked out and told me he knew but he would leave it there for someone else and he just used the bathroom downstairs… Then Gina ran into the bathroom because she really had to pee… So she bolted into the bathroom and Jen and I ran to the door after she closed it and waited there to hear what she’d say… It took her a bit because she had to wipe herself clean but she came out and laughed and freaked out at us at the same time… It sounded like this “HAHA You HAHA guys!!! HAHA that’s not HAHA Funny!!!” but we all knew she thought it was a good one… Then later, we went to Foody Good, where they have one of the best Chinese Buffets in the World! So mom and Auntie Carole had their own table behind us… Gina, Miranda, Jen, AND Me were all trying to prank each other at the table… But after a while we kind of “gave up” to make Gina not care any more… So she left to ask mom a question or something and while she was gone, Me and Jen LOADED (and I mean loaded… and then stirred) salt and pepper into Gina’s Diet Coke and made sure it was not noticeable… So she got back and started drinking her drink and Jen giggled a bit and said “How’s the drink??” Gina didn’t suspect anything because I added “You’re just chuggin’ er back!!” just to make it seem casual and we all laughed along with her… Then Jen and I looked at each other both with a “Phew” expression on our face… Then Gina left again so we did the same to her food but she came too soon and just went back for another plate… Then she had a little bit left of her drink and she noticed some white gunk on the bottom of her cup… “EWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!” she said… I can definitely understand why she said that because there was about 1 to 1.5 cm of salt at the bottom her cup… JEN AND I JUST ABOUT PEEEEEEEEED OURSELVES LAUGHING!!!! then after, before it was time to pay, Miranda left to go to the bathroom. Leaving her purse behind, Jen and I looked at each other and stole the money from her wallet… We got to the front desk and she was just about to pay her bill when she turned around and said to us “Alright… who stole my money??” Jen laughed and gave her the money back… Man that was a good day of April Fools!!! HAHAHAHAHA

This evening we set off firecrackers at 9 at night! It was SO MUCH FUN! We pretty much had the following:

They were loud… The Boomer ones almost made Miranda DEAF!! because the first time she lit it, she didn’t think it would blow up that fast but MAN DID IT EVER!!! haha i killed myself laughing… We also got a video of Miranda throwing some Snappers (little bomb thingys that, when you throw them at something, they make a “bang!”) anyways…We got a video of Miranda throwing one of those at Jen but it hit the lens of the camera and so you can see a little explosion on the camera!! It’s sooo funny though…

Today Miranda, Jen, and I spent the day at the mall… No, Gina didn’t come because she didn’t finish all of her school work HAHA! And I didn’t buy anything but I did get my hair layered and my bangs trimmed… I didn’t think it looked much different but whatever… We also went to Mariposa and randomly tried on each one dress… just to see how it would look… I loved the one I was wearing but if I bought it, when would I wear it?? We even got pictures of us trying on dresses!!! HAHA

Darn Miranda just kept her Jeans on… PARTY POOPER!!! by the way, those straps are not meant to be there but it’s a strapless… I just wear normal bras that actually support me… so that I don’t have to pull it up all the time… But I liked that dress… It was sparkly!!! but the things is, it was a size too small so I couldn’t get it off!!! I had to get Miranda AND Jen into the changing room to help me get it off!!! By the way… like my mismatched socks? haha I do that a lot now!

Apr 10-12

Today we drove to visit Matt in Sherksto, Ontario. It was pretty fun there… On the 10th we kinda just talked and chilled for a bit… The next day he took me to a student night at a little cafe near by… It was fun! We played Spoons…. the old card game… And, for the record, I lost every game Then we played Go Fish… and I won that one… I also had a massive waffle bigger than my head, which I actually finished! it had apple slices and a mountainous pile of whipped cream on the top! Then Matt ordered a delicious looking chocolate cake and begged me to try it… I was like “no… i’m full from the waffle” but he’s like “come on!” So I took a little bite and he got mad!! “He said “TAKE MORE!!!” and I kept refusing so he just like inhaled his cake and I laughed at him The next day, we took Matt to Niagara Falls (which he said he’d been to 3 times before) but he kept repeating that he was going to be the first person to ride his dirtbike through the falls and make it out alive… It kind of got annoying because that’s all he would talk about and all he would say was “I’m gonna vrooooooooooom” and make weird sound effects… ya know?? the things that boys do!! HAHA after that, we went to the Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum which was sooo funny! There was this one part where you had to try and do like this person:

  and they even had a mirror that you could try and do it in front of… So I tried pulling my lip over my nose and so did Gina but Matt just stood there and laughed for a bit… Then he said “Ya know that’s a one way mirror right?” Gina and I kinda looked at each other and ran away sorta thing… haha then we made it to the other side of the one way mirror and we were killing ourselves laughing so much that Matt didn’t want to leave!! he also kept knocking on the glass (which it said not to do.. another thing that boys do is don’t listen…) and he would freak out all the people who came up, made a face, and didn’t know that this was a one way mirror… and then we went out for lunch at Boston Pizza where they had a huge arcade…. So I bought about 2 dollars worth of tokens which got me about 8 of them while Matt bought $30 which got him well over 100 tokens! So after I spent mine he kept giving me some because he’s like these 2 player games are no fun with just me… So I played more games and he still had a ton of tokens left… Then after he had collected all of the little coupon things that come out of the machine to go towards a prize or something, he didn’t really have enough for anything so he just gave them to some lady and she said “You’re the best” and we left… haha

Today we went to a Blue Jays game and to the CN Tower… Here is a picture of me on the glass floor… Gina wasn’t very good at taking pictures because she was too scared to get to close to the floor because she thought it was going to break… HAHAHA

Don’t I just look so comfy in my TransX sweats and my Lulu lemon sweater?? haha (by the way, we left matt’s house about 4 days ago ) So there’s the CN Tower for ya… or at least, a little snapshot of the glass floor but the Blue Jays game sucked so bad! They lost like 7-5 … it was terrible! And about half way through the game, one of the batters (i forget who it was and from what team but it doesn’t really matter) one of the batters actually swung and lost his bat… like it went flying… far! and there were also so many fly balls… but of course we didn’t catch any because we were in the Nosebleed section … oh well.. we got a good view of the game and that’s all that mattered…
and if you can see it, there is three little people wearing red on each base… those are “The Worlds Fastest Clean Up Crew” apparently… they were pretty fast but I think there are others that are just as fast or faster……….

And that’s pretty much all I’m in the mood for blogging about… It’s been long enough… I think Unless you want me to write more! (i can just hear you saying “NO!! NO MORE NO MORE!”) haha

Anyways, On Valentines day, we went to Pan Am pool. Pan Am Pool is an Olympic pool with Plaforms, diving boards, a running track, a gym, and a fitness room. It’s awesome… if you’re ever in Winnipeg, find you’re way to Pan Am pool (if you like swimming and jumping off of 5m platforms…)

Oh! I forgot to mention that the day we were at the mall (the day before Valentines Day) Gina got her cartilage pierced and I got my nails done… Ok, so I’m chicken of getting my cartilage pierced… So what?! Since she got it done at a hair salon, I was going to dye my bangs either purple, blue, or bleach it blond… But, it was $50 bucks so I’m like… “Thanks but that’s way over my limit for just my bangs…” Here is a picture of one of my nails… Sorry my nail isn’t all that great but that’s because I forgot to take that picture BEFORE we went swimming…

Like it??my thumb looks fat though… Oh well. At least the nail looks nice.

Then on the 15th (The day after Valentines day) we went to the Winnipeg Mint… The place where they make coins… not mints. The first thing we saw was a large block of gold. The security guard said that it was worth $400 400 and it weighed 28 pounds. WOW!

So?? how’d you like to have that?! It’d be awesome but ti would totally put your home and family at risk… Everyone would try and jack it from you! It’d be MADNESS!

Then, still at the Mint, they started the tour and as it turned out, Mom, Gina and I were the only ones on the tour. No one else was with us, not even dad. He was working. They told us how they made 15 million coins PER DAY! Yowzers! lol… They also mentioned that if you found a coin that had an”unwanted” design or dot that stuck out on it, it was worth about half a million dollars… that’s right “0.5 MILLION DOLLARS!” I would love to get my hands on one of those… But they also mentioned that there was only 4 (ish) left in the WORLD. woah… wouldn’t that be something? Finding one of the four coins and have the government asking you for it?? That’d be AWESOME! they’d have to py me to get it though…

At the end of the tour, there was those things that you stick your head in and take your picture in it… I’ll show you mine, then I’ll show you Gina’s.

There ya have it… That would explain both of our Buck Teeth… jk jk HAHA…

THEN! then… Mom talked to someone who works at Toys R Us about something… I’ll tell you after… And they said “You have to come early… Like, before the store opens. So be here at about 8 and you should be good. The person opening will give you a ticket and that’s your guarantee that you’ll get it…” So we woke up at 70 and left the house by 7:45. We got to Toys R Us at about 8:10 and waited in line for 1 1/2 hours… Then the store opened and they gave us our ticket. As we held our new item, they scanned it and said “Enjoy you’re new Wii.” AND WE RAN TO THE TRUCK AND GOT SOOOOO EXCITED (By we I mean Gina and I.) and finished our errands. Then the same evening, Janessa and Renae came home with us and we set up the Wii and started to play… After a while of playing, we got ready for bed and at about 1:30 in the morning, Dad and Uncle Darryl came home from their 5 hour snowmobile ride… And uncle Darryl woke up Renae and Janessa and loaded them into the car, and drove home. But there’s a funny story with Renae… When she woke up, she walked to the bathroom. When she was done, she walked into Gina’s room and crawled into bed with her… She was obviously sleep walking because she had her own bed in a different room… When she walked upstairs she started putting her socks on… But that wasn’t working too well because she was using her TOQUE!!!! Using your toque as socks doesn’t get you very far does it? LOL… I laughed pretty hard when I heard that story… and this happened the night we got the Wii…

So lately we’ve been playing the Wii and chilling…. Literally chilling seeing as it’s -20… but -35 with the Wind chill… See what I mean by chilling? I’m jealous of my good friend Mike… He’s gone to California for the family day weekend… He told me that it was +22 out tonight… TONIGHT!! during the evening!! Could you imagine what it’d be like during the day?!?!?!

So I promised that I would eventually post a picture of our fort so here it is… Remember… it’s not a snow fort… It’s a hay bail fort. Now, you’ll notice the little cord hanging in the front, I put a light there because we built the fort at night and once we finished, we just sat and vegged inside the fort for a bit, until Miranda complained that she was tired and her butt was cold… phhhhtttt

So what’d you think?? I am actually realy proud of ourselves! TEAM WORK!

Anywho, I also got a Pink Nintendo DS lite… It looks like this  and I got the Brain Age Game with it… It’s pretty boring though because you can only do it once a day… but I’ll manage and one day buy another game something like the Nintendo 64 Mario one… but it’s for the DS… it’s awesome!

So we spend the weekend at Musso’s, and I actually, FINALLY, drove on the Highway! lol… Mom’s reaction to that was “BUT YOU’RE NOT READY FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING YET!!!!!” and I was like (not out loud but in my head) “yep… I went there!” I drove 100 Km/h ohhhhhh yeah……….. it was so intense!!! again… Gina’s cranky and now she’s getting all mad at me for using my webcam… she thinks it’s hers but it’s not…

ANYWHO!!!  Last week we went to Uncle Johnny and Auntie Coralee’s house to help them clean out their basement and load a ton of wood in. They’re building another room down there for Auntie Coralee’s music… Nothing like a music room, baby!! lol.. Speaking of music… I’m thinking of taking up drumming lessons but mom and dad have a tough bargain so I think I’ll just stick with playing them for fun… I was thinking of asking one of my friends to do it… Like Torrey, Tyler, or Shane… but Mom’s like ok but they have to have a parent home, and they have to give you actual lessons and an exam at the end… I just thought it’d be a fun way for my friends to earn money!!! So I’ll just scratch that idea… oh well…

So, tonight we will be going to Uncle Johnny and Auntie Coralee’s house for some supper and to chill out and have fun Anywho, I got nutin else to write… Tootles!

Funny eh? lol… so all I did was do school. And take a bath. And do more school. I felt sick today though, that’s why I took a bath. I made the water BOILING HOT! I had to do my homework in the only comfortable way… On my stomach on the couch, leaning off a little bit with my work on the floor. Weird eh? Miranda, Gina, Renae and I built a snow fort, except it’s made entirely out of hay bails and planks of wood to hold the roof up. I’ very impressed by it! January 23rd

I had my English exam which I didn’t do that bad but I at least passed… 61%… Then we didn’t really do much then… Just thought I’d blurt my mark out to the world

January 25th

Today was nothing great… I did school (And I skipped yesterday… i know… because all I did was school) and WE BOUGHT A SNOWMOBILE! YEEEEEEE HAH! We bought it but couldn’t use it because it wouldn’t run… So we had to wait a couple of days, then we brought it into the shop to get it fixed…

January 26th-27th

Today and the day after, dad and I drove to Unity Saskatchewan… Uncle Leo’s house smelt HORRIBLE… no offense to him but I know for a fact that I will never become a smoker… EVER! his place… GROSS! You could totally tell he smoked… I almost died in the middle of the night (no not really) because of suffocation and nasty smelling.. ness…  After getting there, sleeping and then waking up the next morning (thankfully), we drove to Swift Current (where the world smelt… well, let’s just say, better.) and we stopped at McDonalds, just to use the bathroom. While dad was taking forever, I stood outside of the washrooms waiting. Dad came out FINALLY and as we were walking back to the truck, dad says “I need to wash my pants.”and I’m like “Why??” then he replies “Because I stuck my pants in pee” GROSS! I was thinking… Then I said (seeing as he took a dump he had to sit lol… cause you all wanted to know) “Well then why did you put your pants all the way to the floor?!?!” “I dunno…” so we go to our “Sold” apartment building to collect laundry money (Which, by the way, we had to break into because we lost the keys), collect junk from the storage room/shed, and go to the bathroom again. I walk into the empty suite, and go into the bathroom… I started to play my iPod (which was in my pocket and I was going to be in there a while) and after a couple of songs finished I reached for the toilet paper. But wait, where was it? As I’m frantically searching through the WHOLE bathroom… I noticed that a person had just moved out so they would have taken it with them! Oh man… So after I finished “number 2ing” I pulled up my pants (yes without wiping (that’s really uncomfortable by the way)) and I ran to the truck (which was also really uncomfortable) and grabbed a handful of napkins and rushed back to my throne.

Anyways. I ran back to the bathroom, wiped, and walked out… I washed my hands too… can’t forget that! Then dad, still with his “pee” pants, rushes into the bathroom and strips completely. Don’t ask me how I know this… Just a wild guess. Then, he says, now what do I wear? We have a 15 hour drive ahead of us and I’m not driving home in a pile of pee. So I rush to the truck, grab one of the t-shirts my mom received (from the duty free store for purchasing $50 or more) and gave that to him. Then I ran back to the truck, grabbed MY housecoat, and he put that over top… Man did he look like a freak… Some tall macho guy in a light blue tweety bird housecoat DEFINITELY does not go… Then to top that off, he had the bulky winter boots, and Camouflage   sunglasses… Talk about embarrassing! He asked me “But don’t you think I’m special?” and I said “You’re special… in your own way!” So before setting of on our 15 hour journey, we stopped at Co-op and I ran in and got him a pair of lounge pants so that he could wear the “too small” t-shirt and the “too small” lounge pants (dad’s an XXL and the only size they had for both was only an XL… yikes…) “I’m the cool kid now! Got my skinnies, and my tight shirt, and the winter boots…” and I’m like “Who are you and what have you done with my dad?” haha that was an interesting time. Before we left, the weather network said that there was going to be Severe Winter storms all along the bottom of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. That’s where we were going! AHHHHH!!!! So dad refused not to stop and stay the night at uncle Leo’s (good choice!) and he stocked up on energy drinks and spitz. He actually bought those little 5hour energy bottles that the truckers use!! and her bought a can of Red Bull… I never thought I’d see the day when my dad would actually WANT energy drinks! But he needed them so that he could stay completely awake for the entire trip. I had an exam the next day and we were only going to arrive a couple of hours before my test started! We ended up not being able to see the road sometimes but over all, we made it home safely, as I was being little miss Sleeping Beauty in the back while dad was awake BY HIMSELF (man I feel so bad now) driving through that winter storm… There’s no place like Florida There’s no place like Florida! *Tapping my red sparkley shoes* I made it for my exam and I ended up getting only 68% on my Science Final… At least I passed both classes this first semester! WOO HOO! I also slept the night at Kehler’s, hoping that I would go to school with Miranda (I’ve done it 3 times before! It was so much fun!) but school was canceled because it was so cold from the winter storm… DANG! So Miranda and I stayed home by ourselves and baked, watched “The Devil Wears Prada” and played Nintendo 64… Love it!

The first weekend of February, we rode our snowmobile, and had a sleepover at Daddy Dad’s place (our birth father… for those of you who don’t know ) and we played drums, played cards, Gina was a remote control hog, and we set up a weathering system… it was cool… Gina was being lazy and didn’t do anything but be lazy and watch tv! Then there’s me offering to help out with errands that needed to be done…

Well, it’s 9:20 pm out here now, so I have 10 minutes to be in bed… 2tles!! (tootles!!)

This morning was pretty cool! We went to Universal Studios because they were having a grand opening of the new ride Disaster. It was neat. First they started off by having a trivia about Disaster Movies i.e.: Twister. And mom ended up winning a Disaster t-shirt that says Disaster on the front and the on the back it says “Rule #14: The Annoying Guy Always Dies.” That’s funny! I’m actually wearing the shirt right now because mom said it’d be too hot to wear two shirts but I’m never cold… according to dad Then they showed this plunger to blow up dynamite… After calling out a family from Hawaii to push it, They showed the explosion and The Rock came running out of the explosion… after they had blown down the Styrofoam wall I’ll have to put a picture of him talking… It was so funny! This one guy from the crowd (once there was a silence) he yelled “Can You Slip It?!?!” and everyone laughed at him… I think even The Rock did too… Because that must have been what he yelled from back when he was a wrestler, not a preppy actor… lol We even got a couple of the Styrofoam blocks used as the wall… Another useless souvenir! haha

These last few day have been stressful… W’re getting kicked out of the United States by the government because there’s a limit as to how long you can stay… 6 months… and we’ve almost over stayed it. So they’re chuckin us out! RIP OFF!! I was really looking forward to the East Coast… Like Washington (Mount Rushmore Mostly), New York, and Delaware… Delaware because that’s (apparently) where the world’s largest elastic ball is and Jeremy said he wanted some kind of souvenir from there… now I can’t get him one but I told him I would at the start of my trip! Darn… So here’s the poop scoop… NO! Not that poop scoop… you guys all think nastily… you should be ashamed of yourselves… jk jk jk… JUST KIDDING! On Friday… That’s tomorrow, we’re driving ALL THE WAY BACK TO CANADA… where it’s cold… Like Manitoba… and we’re going to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson’s house because they’re in Mexico (while we all get stuck in the cold!). So we’re gonna look after their house and make snow forts in the back (with the hay bails of course… its the structure and then we’ll put snow on top… it’ll be warmer and it’ll look like a snow fort! Plus it’s more secure ) That’s when we’ll also steal Uncle Johnny’s snowmobile and go snowmoboarding, a word made by Gina meaning: Getting pulled behind a snowmobile on a snowboard Sounds like fun eh? So, we’ll stay in Winnipeg until Mid February (ish) and then we’ll drive out to Calgary for our “visit” and have fun back home. Then once we’re done there, we’ll be heading out east to Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes, etc. So that’s that…

January 21st…

It’s been a long drive… We drove all the way from Florida in 3 days.. that takes like 20 hours of driving each day… well maybe not that much for the third day but it was for the first 2… Long and boring… Most of the time, Gina spent her time on the Gameboy color… I spent my time scrap booking, sewing, and reading… Me reading?!?! I know… But I found this really great book in my closet that I had started reading a few months ago and saw that I had needed to start over and finish the book… No I have not finished it yet but I am just over half way done. It’s called “Analyze Yourself” by Karyn Gordon. It’s one of those “counseling” type books… no I’m not needing counseling but I really like learning from other people… That’s what I do best… Besides Gymnastics…

Yeah… I actually used to do that… I miss those times. Mom and Dad both think I’m too old to be doing that now… Now all I can do (barely) is the Splits, A Round-off-back flip, a cart wheel, and a pull-over. It’s still enough but I’m definitely not as flexible as I used to be… You can ask anyone who went to Highwood Elementary with me… for example Adrianna, Sara, Mark, Georgia, and Marissa… wow… Things change as you get older… That’s for sure.

Anyways, back to the drive, Gina got her Gameboy taken away and I just kept reading… Surprisingly enough, I read most of the way back to Canada… I also thought a lot about reactivating my cell phone, seeing as I’m in Canada and it’ll work… I’m excited now But I’m not all that impressed with the -40 degree weather! Ouch!!! That’s brutal!

I’m really bored… And I don’t know what to do…. ho hum… really bored… really really bored.. On the way home, Gina and I were coming up with some Henna designs… we both bought little henna kits while we were in Florida… I would show you what Gina’s design would look like but I can’t get it on here… and I’m too lazy to scan it on Mine will look like this (I only want mine as writing and not a design… I still think this one looks awesome)
